What great runners do

What a great runner does
  • Locates the table confidently before walking out, never wanders.
  • Names the dish and the protein at the drop: chicken here, paneer for you.
  • Eye contact, half-second smile, careful, hot plate.
  • Pre-buses the table on the way back: empty plate, empty glass, untouched bread basket gone.
  • Notices the table is low on water before the does.

What a weak runner does
